For Sale 1956 Francis Barnet Plover

  • icon Price Price : 1 200 £
Description :

I bought 2 basket cased bikes 35 years ago and restored them. I sold one and kept this one with intention of using. Sadly it has sat in my garage since then. I did all those years ago have conformation from the francis Barnet club that frame and engine numbers match but I didn't register it so no log book.
I start it every year and it runs fine.
Sadly the paint has lifted on the tank so needs painting.
I have a spare tank also.
I struggle kicking it over as I had an accident and this year the kick-start stayed in the down position so needs sorting. Engine moves freely so relatively easy fix.
Due to my ability to kick it over I feel its time to go to and enthusiast who will enjoy and love it.
It was the first bike I ever restored.
