Hi if you did not go to Stafford you missed a really excellent weekend a really good club stand with a good selection of varied machinery from the 20's to the 60's well done Bob Adams for organising an outstanding club stand. While I was at Stafford I took the opportunity to enquire about passes for the varios VMCC events and was informed they had been experiencing staff problems and passes would not be available until 2 weeks before each event so if you have asked for passes please be patient if you haven't asked please apply now for Banbury Run 1000 Bikes and Founders Day. May the spark be with you Stuart Elkes

news from vmcc Empty Nothing new !

Post  piston 197 on Tue Apr 30, 2019 6:04 pm

Yes Steve Kowalski who was the events guy at VMCC has left and he has recently been replaced by Michelle Allton. The passes thing with Banbury is down to Gaydon Museum issuing the passes to VMCC approx 10 days before the day , not so sure about the 1000 bikes.
I sent my autojumble booking form for Banbury in on 7th February with a request of an Email to confirm receipt ??? and nothing, last week i got another set of booking forms ?? it has taken until today and a phone call to Allen house, an Email to the event organiser and an Email to the Chairman of the VMCC to get a phone call acknowledging receipt of my booking received on 11 February.
When i received the new booking forms i naturally assumed my original ones had not been received.
There needs to be some changes to how VMCC organise things and hopefully having spoken to the new events planner it looks like the message is getting through.

Stuart - I think I said at the weekend that I can do Founders Day and I can now do the Banbury Run as well. I wouldn't like to commit to Mallory due to possible family holiday commitments, - If it turns out I am free I'll take my chances with getting a pass nearer the time.
