I am having great problems trying to get the swinging arm pivot stud out to replace worn out rubber bearings . I have tried hammering out but it seems stuck solid probably in the centre frame section.  Has anyone got any ideas how I might get it out??

Peter, if belting it does not do the trick, then a hacksaw cut either side of the centre mounting point is going to be your recourse.

Hi John,

Thanks for idea I will try more brute force first the hacksawing a bit difficult as it is the James type rear swinging arm and job to get a hacksaw in as there are lugs welded on to the swing arm.
