Oops. Sorry. Forgot to mention the bike is a 1958 Falcon 81.

There is an offset but I can't recall what it is. Central Wheel built my wheels (Coleshill?). They set it to what they had in their notes but it had to go back to be changed once I tried it in the bike. So, I can't help except to say that there is one..Sorry. As a PS they also had to change the 3.25 Dunlop K82s to 3.00 as the modern 3.25 are much wider than 50s/60s 3.25s and were touching mudguard/mudguard bracket front and rear. Mad but Dunlop agree it is so.

If your doing it yourself fit the wheel into the bike and make the rim centre align with the frame centre down tube.

Thanks for the feedback Steve and Ken. Looks like I will have to wait until I get the frame assembled before lacing the wheel. Really interesting Steve re the width discrepancy of the tyres. The bike came without tyres so would you expect the same problem on my '58 Falcon 81? Regards. Lol

If you use Dunlop K82s then yes I would expect the same problem. 3.00x18 tyres look 'right' as well as fit ok. The 3.25s I tried first looked massive on the rims and were also too wide. Whether this is the same for all modern tyres/makes I couldn't say.
