For Sale: Falcon 67 from 1954

  • icon Price Price : 2 150 £
  • icon Country Country : United Kingdom
Description :

Stripped and painted in 2008 and kept in a heated garaged ever since. Wheels rebuild with stainless spokes on the original re chromed rims. New tyres at the time. Clutch corks replaced. Pax bearings replaced in the front forks and line reamed curtesy of a loan of the tool from the club. Repainted with 2 pack and transfers replaced. New exhaust from Armors. I'm an instrument maker by trade and I've stripped cleaned and rebuilt the original smiths speedo.

A few electrical mods have been incorporated. Ignition is via an external coil hidden under the tank. This is powered by the villiers coil which has the fine outer wires removed. This mod was recommended somewhere on this forum and has proven ultra reliable. I made up my own diode bridge rectifier which sits inside the original selenium case under the seat. Charges the battery no problem. Starts reliably on the second kick. Only used a couple of times each year for a run out around the lake district.

Move abroad is driving a sad sale. On sale here first for offers around £2150. Going on ebay at the end of the week. Located in CA13 area.
